Silage additive BONSILAGE ALFA convinces on the farm
The silage additives BONSILAGE ALFA was especially developed for the use for Lucerne and clover grass silages. Successful product use in Germany and Europe confirms the effect of lactic acid bacteria strains, which are adapted particularly to difficult ensiling conditions of Lucerne and clover or clover grass. The biological silage additive can be use in the dry matter range from 25 to 40 %.
Lactic acid bacteria strains protect against reheat
BONSILAGE ALFA combines the three homofermentative lactic acid bacteria (LAB) L. paracasei, L. plantarum and Lc. Lactis with the heterofermentative LAB-strain L. buchneri. Both L. paracasei and L. plantarum have the rare property, that they are able to split fructans. As a result, also at difficult to ensile plants like Lucerne and clover a very effective pH reduction is guaranteed. Lc. lactis has a direct inhibitory effect over fermentation pests like clostridia or enterobacteria. The LAB-strain L. buchneri releases during ensiling process controlled acetic acid and propanol, as the silage is better protected against reheat.
BONSILAGE ALFA convinced with palatable and perfectly hygienic silages
Balanced fermentation acid pattern care for excellent taste of silages. The hygienic quality is further more excellent (see figure). In spite of partly difficult ensiling conditions through higher content of crude ash and lower content of dry matter, the silage additive BONSILAGE ALFA produce a stable silage with a balanced ratio of lactic acid and acetic acid. All silages convinced through a low number of clostridia spores, yeast and mould.
