Quality Certificates
Quality marks such as QS, GMP+, KAT and ABCERT confirm SCHAUMANN's compliance with essential quality requirements independently. Their proof is an important link in a quality-oriented food production chain for the company, just as it is for its customers, the farmers.
The GMP+ Feed Safety Assurance (GMP+ FSA) is an international scheme to ensure animal feed safety in all links of the animal feed chain.
For SCHAUMANN, GMP+FSA is the valid standard for the production of compound feeds, premixes and their trade and is confirmed by annual audits. GMP+ is recognised by QS, A-Futter, ISO, HACCP.

The supply of feed for animal husbandry in accordance with the specifications of Qualität und Sicherheit GmbH, Bonn (QS). Voluntary quality inspections are carried out along the entire food chain on the basis of DIN EN ISO 9001.
Mutual recognition has been agreed for GMP+ and QS audits carried out at individual and compound feed manufacturers. Based on the GMP+ certification, SCHAUMANN carries the QS mark.
The uniform national standard for milk production covers the basic requirements of cow's milk production in Germany. QM delivery conditions of dairies are thus fulfilled.
The production of SCHAUMANN products for dairy cow feeding is continuously controlled and assured according to Country Note GMP+ BCN- DE1 QM-Milch.
Providing feed for organic animal husbandry in accordance with the EC organic regulations No. 848/2018 and No. 1165/2021 - controlled and certified by ABCERT AG, Esslingen (DE-ÖKO-006).

SCHAUMANN feedstuffs are certified annually by ABCERT AG for compliance with the EC-Genetic Engineering-Implementing Act and the "without genetic engineering" production and testing standard of the Association of Foodstuffs without Genetic Engineering e.V. (VLOG).

The German Agricultural Society (DLG e. V.) checks compound feeds, cleaning agents, disinfectants, udder hygiene agents and barn disinfectants and awards the DLG quality mark. The quality specifications are based on practical requirements and correspond to the latest scientific findings.
For more than 50 years, SCHAUMANN has regularly and successfully subjected itself to the high quality requirements of the DLG quality mark regulations. Mineral feed, silage additives and various hygiene products bear the DLG quality mark.

The system specification A-Futter in the feed industry was launched in 2001 by the Bavarian Farmers' Association and the DVT (German Animal Feed Association) as the basis for " Geprüfte Qualität - Bayern" (Tested Quality - Bavaria) and is a prerequisite for the Bavarian initiative "Offene Stalltür" (Open Barn Door). Participating farms are allowed to use QS-approved feed.
An energy management system (EnMS) is used to systematically record energy flows and as a basis for improving energy efficiency. DIN EN ISO 50001 formally describes the requirements for an energy management system (EnMS), on the basis of which independent certification takes place. Compliance with the requirements is continuously monitored in annual audits.
