The international company network creates synergies
H. Wilhelm Schaumann laid the foundation for an international group of companies with the first company founded in 1938. Today, SCHAUMANN is a strong brand in a network of companies that specialise in different areas of agricultural issues.
We think and work in a network - SCHAUMANN as a global player
Founded in 1938 as H. Wilhelm Schaumann GmbH, SCHAUMANN is today a group of companies operating worldwide, present in more than 40 countries.
This continuously generates new impulses for research and development, the implementation in high-performance products and the consistent calibration of the SCHAUMANN concept. A clear added value for each of our customers. With the current 14 sister companies, we have opened up international business fields in Austria, Switzerland, China, France, Italy, Croatia, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Hungary and Vietnam. We also cooperate with partner organisations in more than 30 other countries.
A strong partner at your side - Huelsenberg Holding
The globally operating Huelsenberg Holding with four differently oriented companies emerged from H. Wilhelm Schaumann GmbH. At the centre is Union Agricole Holding as the umbrella company for 25 companies internationally active in agriculture.
As early as 1948 H. Wilhelm Schaumann also founded Durag Holding for combustion and environmental measurement technology. This group of companies creates synergies for Enbycon Holding, which focuses on renewable energies. The biotechnology companies are combined in Biotic Sience Holding. This also includes Lactosan, from whose competences in the field of Biological silage additives and probiotics SCHAUMANN benefits just as much as from the production of acid-based preservatives and feed supplements of Ligrana from the Union of Agricole Holding.
H. Wilhelm Schaumann Foundation
In 1967, H. Wilhelm Schaumann established the foundation of the same name. The foundation promotes scientific research in particular by supporting young scientists with scholarships, grants and awards, by organising specialist conferences on animal and agricultural science and by awarding research donations.
The most important event organised by the H. Wilhelm Schaumann Foundation is the "Hülsenberger Gespräche" (Hülsenberg Talks): every two years, the Foundation invites eminent scientists to a three-day forum to promote the exchange of ideas between the disciplines of farm animal science.
