Schaumann presents the new KALBI TMR NOVA

New highly digestible calf TMR for early rumen development and optimised rearing
With KALBI TMR NOVA, SCHAUMANN is launching an innovative dry TMR for calves this spring that sets new standards in calf feeding. The mixture impresses with its high digestibility, outstanding palatability and its beneficial effect on early rumen development – crucial factors for economical and efficient calf rearing.
Innovation through structure, nutrients and functionality
KALBI TMR NOVA is based on a high proportion of valuable alfalfa hay with short particle length. This structure promotes the intake of basic feed. The increased pellet content ensures improved feed homogeneity. In addition, the now higher molasses content provides an additional increase in palatability.
Nutrient components with a scientific basis
The new product contains digestible, highly digestible concentrate components, including barley and corn, which specifically support the growth of the rumen villi. Kalvicin, with the proven SCHAUMANN active ingredients CERAVITAL XP, PROVITA LE and the organically bound AMINOTRACE trace elements, takes the digestibility of plant proteins and nutrient supply to a new level.
The organically bound AMINOTRACE trace elements also ensure an optimal supply of iron, zinc, copper and manganese. Micronised zinc oxide (MiZi) makes a significant contribution to stabilising the calves' digestive system.
Economic advantages in rearing
Thanks to its excellent palatability, feed intake is noticeably increased. This not only promotes early rumen development, but also leads to consistent daily weight gains without a growth dip after weaning. Another highlight: earlier weaning of calves reduces rearing costs in the long term. Schaumann KALBI TMR NOVA was developed in Hülsenberg and tested at Gut Hülsenberg and in numerous practical operations.
KALBI TMR NOVA is now available in 500 kg big bags and is ideal for farms that want to rear their calves efficiently and to the highest standards.
